IV Fluid plant (discontinued for now)
Project to start producing our own IV fluid.
Currently the hospital is purchasing IV fluid through a supplier. By producing our own fluids we become independent from the supplier and improve our availability of IV fluids and reduce the risk of being out of stock. Another benefit is that produced fluids can also be sold to other hospitals and health facilities.
This project involves a business case to determine whether this project is feasible by looking at the related costs, required customers to be sustainable and benefits.
Based on the business case, we still need to address whether there will be enough sales potential in order to know if producing our own fluids will be sustainable. As we missed the deadline for training, which is once per year, this project is now discontinued untill it's reprioritized again to continue.
